Typical desiccated soil found in Texas during the hot, summer months. If your soils looks like this, time to apply a LOT of water around your home's foundation and check for signs of foundation movement..

This crack indicates foundation movement has occurred, which may or may not require repair.
Major masonry crack with a corresponding separation at the window. Time for a foundation assessment.
A crack in the foundation slab-another sign the slab has deflected excessively.
When frieze boards separate by 1/4 in. or more, you have one significant sign of potential foundation problems.
Do your doors stick at the top?...a sure sign of foundation movement.

FOUNDATION INSPECTION
Report to include a site visit, noting exterior and interior signs of movement, including masonry and drywall cracking, separations at doors, windows and frieze boards, misaligned doors, slab cracks and elevations. Report to include repair recommendation specifications.
DRAINAGE INSPECTION
Report to include a site visit, noting historical events, current conditions and recommendations and specifications for remediation.
ENGINEERING CONSULTATION-GENERL
General residential engineering consultation and evaluations concerning your home, including structural/framing modifications, swimming pool engineering letters, tunnel compaction letters, retaining wall design/evaluation, site planning, etc.
